CheckZap

These Terms of Service govern your use of CheckZap, a desktop application for check printing and check management on macOS and Windows.

By installing, accessing, or using CheckZap, you agree to these Terms. If you use CheckZap on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business.

• You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• CheckZap is not intended for children under 13, and you may not use the service if prohibited by applicable law.

CheckZap provides software tools to create, manage, and print check-related records. Features may include local check workflows and optional cloud-enabled services such as sync, AI-assisted document parsing, and remote print workflows.

Availability of features may vary by plan, platform, integration, or region.

You agree not to:

• Use CheckZap for unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive activities.
• Attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or bypass technical protections.
• Upload malicious code or misuse integrations and remote print features.
• Use the service in ways that violate applicable financial or privacy laws.

Paid features may be offered on a subscription basis. By purchasing a paid plan, you agree to applicable pricing, billing intervals, and tax charges shown at checkout.

Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel renewal at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or explicitly stated in a written offer.

You retain ownership of data you submit to CheckZap. You grant us permission to process that data as needed to operate, secure, and support the service.

Our data practices are described in the Privacy Policy.

CheckZap is a software tool and is not a bank, money transmitter, legal advisor, tax advisor, or accounting firm.

You are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, and authorization of all checks, payee details, and financial records you create, print, or transmit using CheckZap.

CheckZap may rely on third-party infrastructure and providers, including cloud, AI processing, and printing/network services. We are not responsible for outages, delays, or changes caused by those third-party services.

CheckZap, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Conroe Smart Tech LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use CheckZap in accordance with these Terms.

We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

You are responsible for maintaining backups of important records where appropriate.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created legal/security risk, or used the service in a harmful way.

You may stop using CheckZap at any time. Sections that by nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CheckZap is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Conroe Smart Tech LLC and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill.

Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability is limited to the amount you paid for CheckZap in the 12 months before the claim.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Conroe Smart Tech LLC from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your use of CheckZap, your data, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue for disputes will be in competent courts located in Texas, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
